I am very satisfied with the welding quality and product quality. I have found the 3rd level to be the best setting for me. You must not press the pins hard. just touch them lightly at 45 degrees. I am totally happy and hope that the device will last a long time. yes, I can recommend it. The only disadvantage is that the cable is a bit short.”

This one actually works very well. I bought a few others and had to return them because they did crappy welds. As long as you take your time and give it a chance to cool after 10 to 20 welds it will do a good job.

As with anything, follow the proper operating instructions. I charged up the unit when I got it and proceeded to welding. On level 3, my spot welds were so strong that it ripped the nickel strip when I tried to peel it off. Amazing for such a small unit. These welds are not coming off. Love it really.

I picked this welder up after watching a couple reviews on YouTube. I am using it to assemble small DIY battery packs, and it is absolutely awesome for this. Unlike soldering, this can be picked up by an absolute novice and still turn out a perfect end result. A little playing with the power settings to figure out what your material welds best at, and you are off to the races. The case is SOLID compared to the many knockoffs on the market. It honestly makes me want to find some more projects to put together just to use it.

This portable spot welder works great especially cause you can choose the power it puts out. I honestly didn't think this spot welder would work this great. If your looking for a portable spot welder then this one would be it very powerful and easy to use. If you can use an iPhone anyone can use this spot welder, that's how easy it is to use. I'm an android lover so this is a walk In the park for me. I'm planning on buying another one just to in case anything happens to this one ill have a backup.

This spot welder was easy to use and though there were cheaper ones out there, I'm glad I chose this one. The YouTube videos out there did help. I will be trying more battery repairs in the near future. The accomplishment felt good.

It works. I had 4 bad battery packs, now I have 3 good ones and 1 very bad one. I really don’t know if the welds will last, but used repaired battery pack with portable sander today and worked fine. Would prefer leads to be about 4 inches longer. Also better directions, welding tips, and possible other uses suggestions. So far very satisfied.
